Bishop Wesley V. Knight, one who is always before the Lord, seeking the face of God for an end-time, on-time word.
Since the Lord changed his life, he has been very compassionate about reaching those in the lifestyle from which the Lord has delivered him. A minister since October 1993, Bishop Knight is the Senior Pastor of the New Creation Christian
Church ("NCCC") which was incorporated in September 2000. He continues steadfastly in the work of the Lord and is endeavoring to fulfill the calling that is upon his life and the vision that the Lord has given him.
Bishop Knight understands that there is standard in Christ. In casual conversation, the preached Word, and through his lifestyle, he works extremely hard to convey the message he teaches the New Creation Christian Church members which is to be “salt” and “light” wherever they go.
As an Elder, he faithfully served his local church, The One Accord Church and national organization, The Born Again Churches of Jesus Christ, Apostolic Inc. under the leadership of the late Bishop John W. Barber in various capacities. He served as an Usher, Youth Department President, Choir Director, Musician, Children's Church Coordinator and National Sunday School Superintendent. In January 2000, Elder Knight became Pastor of The One Accord Church after the passing of Bishop Barber, who was a great father and mentor.
In May 2001, he obeyed the commission of the Lord to begin the vision placed in his heart and the New Creation Apostolic Church ("NCAC") held its first official service in the basement of the Knight's home. Knowing the importance of having a covering
in ministry, Pastor Knight sought the Lord and received instructions to place New Creation in fellowship with the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Michael Blue, the Pastor of the Door of Hope Christian Church in Marion, South Carolina. In March 2005, the New Creation Apostolic Church formally changed its name to the New Creation Christian Church (NCCC).
In 2004, by the leading of the Lord, He founded the New Creation Outreach Center which encompasses children and youth ministries (toy drive, leap of faith basketball tournament, mentoring program and after-school program), men and women ministries, food pantry, which currently feed 180 families per week. He works closely with the local precinct and the community board of clergy.
In addition to serving in the capacity as a Pastor of a local assembly, he was led by God to serve fellow pastors in the New York area through support, prayer and counsel.
As a result, the New York City Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries Leadership Alliance (NYC CCFM Leadership Alliance) was birthed. Since its inception in 2001, “The Leadership Alliance,” has grown to 22 churches, in the New York area and Baltimore, MD, who have dedicated themselves to empower the Body of Christ in promotion of the Gospel and development of leaders. The dedication to God’s work was duly affirmed in June 2011 when he was consecrated to the office of Bishop, and Overseer for the Northern Region of the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries.
